om sproget / on language

This blog will be written in both English and Danish. If you, as a reader, have trouble with one of those languages and would like a translation, please let me know, and I will do my best to oblige. If you are a Danish reader, please know that I am just learning, and my Danish is far from perfect. If you would like to suggest corrections please do so. Email me at somedayashtrays@gmail.com.

Radio og radio

Two things occurred to me. One -- that I never put up last week’s playlist. Here it is, the weird thing:

1. Ghost Dreaming - Quasi
2. Plantage – Under Byen
3. Lord Anthony – Belle & Sebastian
4. A Vacant Heart – Wolfkin
5. The Ostrich Approach – I Am Bones
6. Dark Heart – Broder Daniel
7. If This Is Life! – Kristoffer Ragnstam
8. Great Days for the Passenger Element – Autolux
9. The Devil May Care – the Brian Jonestown Massacre
10. Neverevereverdid – Architecture in Helsinki
11. Dead Sound – the Raveonettes

The second realization was that, apparently, podcasted shows are deleted from KPSU’s online archives after eight weeks. I’ve uploaded (a slightly lower-quality copy of) the Under Byen one from 6. July, since people seem to like it -- but otherwise, I don’t feel that it’s really worth the effort. However, if you’d like to hear one of the older shows, feel free to email me, and I’ll send it your way.

I’ll write again tomorrow -- Club 8 -- Oliver North Boy Choir -- Shout Out Louds -- more!

Hi!

The Under Byen website ends with a dot dk. The dot com is a "hijacked" spam one or something.

Keep up the good work!
